Unpacking

Having gathered a large number of notes, photos, impressions, and quotes, it is time to deduce the data. This downloading of your findings can be done individually or as a team using various frameworks.

When a team uses a distinct unpacking method (such as; We met.., We were surprised to notice.., We wonder if this means...), sharing, clustering, and interpreting the data becomes a more fluid process.

Each member unpacks the findings of their interviews by following the structure of this framework. It is critical to pay close attention to each teammates' stories, learnings, and impressions. This is a rich and powerful way to share what has been heard.
