Module 3: Prototyping, Testing & Experimentation
Testing Types
Tests allow you to observe your customers' behaviors. You can directly observe what customers do and how they interact with the prototypes using Learning Prototypes that get quantifiable results. Identify directly what the user wants and find issues with your solution. Three simple quantifiable testing methods are:
A/B testing
This method is all about comparison. In short, you test two different versions of the same solution, e.g., different product designs, prototypes, or core functionalities for the same needs. Do five interviews, adapt the prototype, and continue.
Landing page approach
Before you spend time further developing an idea, it is worth testing whether customers will buy it. Therefore, built a landing page to advertise the new offering, add a "buy" button, and the data will speak for itself.
Smoke test
For digital applications, this method is the preliminary testing level that ensures that all basic components are functioning properly.
Benefits:
- Supports decision making with actual, verified data through
- Direct comparison of several versions of a proposed solution

potential users, product/service prototypes
